Let's be purposeful in our silence. Let's not just be silent, thinking maybe we have heard something in the distance.
The Word of God is crucial in overcoming depression. But what if you don't want to read?

When you fall down, don't stop
We are not feeding on the one thing we need most.
If we could see the whole path, our focus would be on the path ahead and not on the one next step and our moment-by-moment dependence on following God's leadership.
"Sunday night was the last set I will lead before we move, and I was sent out with blessing and prophecy and flowers. I am reminded once more how lavishly God honors our obedience."
"I had major slippery grace for myself because I knew He loved me deep down. And I knew somehow that out of every mess I made in my life, being a prostitute, that He'd forgive me."
"Allow Me to exchange My beauty for your ashes. Give to Me all your disappointments and hurts, all that pain and suffering I bore upon My body so you could be free from it."
"I speak so clearly in the stillness. I unburden and release."
I wanted to choose life, but I realized it couldn't just be lip service. God had spoken to me through His Word.
If you are married to someone who is not a Christian, don't despair.
Once again. the Lord reminded me of how important it is not to become "familiar" with Scripture. The Scripture is always giving birth to revelation of the Word that takes us deeper in Him.
As King Solomon said, "But will God indeed dwell on the earth? See, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less can this house that I have built?" (1 Kings 8:27).
How do we build resilience into our lives so that we don't crumble and quit when life feels hard?
When someone says, "I don't believe in God" ask them what kind of God they don't believe in.
I tell you the truth: Your redemption cost Me everything. But I would willingly do it again, because that's how valuable you are to Me.
Jesus' hands are around our pain, His voice whispering into our cries and His promise echoing through our emptiness.
Even though He was innocent, the people falsely accused Him; they mocked and spit on Him, bruised and broke His body. And yet He chose to do what's right.
