Order Out of Chaos

I have been meditating on the power of our Creator. The hovering power of the Spirit of God and the speaking voice of our creative Lord can break any power of chaos around us, creating a new order out of our confusion. If you do not know Him, know that He created you with a purpose and desires to commune with you.
He is the executive director of the earth. Many of us do not recognize that all that happens in our lives will work toward His best and ultimately benefit us if we will only submit and praise.
The more you align with His creative power, the less anxiety you will experience. Listen deeply within your heart and spirit for His voice. All He does is for your good. If you will listen, you will sense a peace that goes beyond any human calmness.
We must guard ourselves from high levels of stress. Many of our health problems are a result of stress and anxiety. If we will listen to and submit ourselves to Him in the chaotic situations, circumstances and overall atmospheric upheavals, we will find our lives aligning with the God who created us and who can work order in the midst of confusion.
Evangelist Targets Ethiopian Community
An Ethiopian evangelist now based in the U.S. will concentrate his missions efforts on an event in Washington, D.C., later this month, when tens of thousands of Ethiopian-Americans are expected at RFK Stadium for a week of sports and cultural festivities. Daniel Tassew Haile, founder of International Revival Ministry, told Charisma he has networked with 17 ethnic churches in the D.C. area to coordinate evangelistic outreaches at the 25th annual Ethiopian Sports Federation in North America (ESFNA), a soccer-based celebration of Ethiopian culture that takes place June 29 through July 5. “We want to invade the RFK Stadium with the glory of God and proclaim Jesus Christ as the only Savior of the world,” said Haile, who meets in Maryland this week with 50 Ethiopian pastors and leaders from the U.S. and Canada to fast and pray. He said nearly 5,000 Christians from D.C.-area churches are expected to participate in the weeklong outreach. One Prayer Unites Hundreds of Churches
A cutting-edge Oklahoma pastor weary of seeing the body of Christ divided across denominational and doctrinal lines has begun a monthlong campaign to unite churches. Dubbed “One Prayer,” Craig Groeschel, senior pastor of LifeChurch.tv, launched the initiative on June 8, joining hundreds of churches worldwide to simultaneously participate in the same sermon series. Four different megachurch pastors are preaching a sermon weekly until the end of June elaborating on the one prayer that each pastor would pray if they had only one petition for the body of Christ. Each Sunday a different pastor preaches while the other churches watch the service via video. “If I had one prayer that I could ask the Father in heaven, I would pray, ‘Father make us one,’” Groeschel said during last week’s message.
