I'm Telling the Truth: What You Didn't Know About God

photo I'm Telling the Truth: What You Didn't Know About God by author and speaker, Kelvin Curry, gives you the honest, straightforward answers you're looking for about God, salvation, and Christianity. In a creative style that is uniquely his own, Kelvin shares the uncompromising truth of the gospel in a way that is applicable to today's culture and easy to understand. The following excerpts provide a sample preview of the book:

Chapter 1: What's the Gospel?

For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. —John 3:17, emphasis added

I want you to catch this with all of your heart. Many people think that God is a forever, angry God who is just waiting for us to mess up so He can push this big red button from His "heavenly command center" and send us to hell. No! That is not who God is at all. This is who God is:

The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. —Psalm 103:8

Chapter 5: How Can I Be Sure That Jesus Is the Only Way to Be Saved?

The message of today reads, "You can choose whatever truth you prefer because they all lead to the same God!" Although this sounds good, God completely disagrees with this message. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth" (John 14:6, niv, emphasis added). This statement made by Jesus, means that He is the only truth that exists when it comes to knowing God. As a result, it dispels any other way to know God, outside of coming to Jesus. Jesus is not one of the many choices on a "drive-thru dollar menu" of religion where you get salvation at the pickup window. He is the only choice to receive salvation.

I'm telling the truth is for everyone!
