By him, therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. —Hebrews 13:15
"Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord." People ask why we tell them to praise the Lord.
If you do not feel it at first, then offer your praise as a "sacrifice." Praise is not a feeling but an act of obedient sacrifice. After the sacrifice of praise, comes the praise itself, out of a soul filled with joy. The result of praise is joy unspeakable!
Hallelujah!
Lord, to You I bring my sacrifice
of praise. Amen.
