Parents and church members are responsible to show young people their value to God, to teach them the Word of God and to provide guidelines that will prevent a damaged spirit or a broken heart.

HEART ISSUE: Are you providing the teenager in your life with encouragement and biblical teaching?
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, show my teen his or her true worth. Help me to balance love, discipline and laughter in our relationship. Amen.


Teens need parents and mentors to enforce boundaries. But most of all, teenagers need adults who will talk to them, help them to see their abilities and encourage them when they make right choices.

HEART ISSUE: When you look at the last week spent with your teen, did you talk about what interested him or her?
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, please show me my teenager's talents and abilities. Increase my love for him or her, and deepen our communication. Amen.
