We Want Truth

College students value success and relationships, and they are hungry for instruction on how to amount to something, make a difference in the world and make wise choices in life. The church can reach this college-age culture by teaching about the success (blessing) that follows those who pursue Jesus. College students desire to be a part of something much bigger than themselves, and they are willing to give up everything they have to pursue it—if they know it’s the real deal. That’s why the church must teach young adults the facts that support the Bible’s teaching on the life, death and resurrection of Christ. They must know that the Bible is reliable and that what it says is true. They also need to be convinced that following Jesus is a challenging but worthwhile and attainable pursuit. When college students catch the vision of the
good plan that God has for them and understand that they can fulfill it, they’ll jump on board and become the leaders of their generation—successful, knowledgeable and evangelistic.
