It Is Not About Obama's Faith!

By Kimberly Daniels

This column is a response to all the ministers who have shared their concern that the faith of President-elect Obama has been challenged. My position on this issue is very simple. I believe that the church, in general, has gotten away from the simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I agree that we cannot judge the heart of a man, but "keeping it simple" will allow us to know those with whom we labor.

Keeping it simple will also sharpen our ability to test the spirits that rule over us, to discern whether they are of God. Then, whether the leaders are saved or not, we will know how to pray for them.

We do not pray only for saved leaders. We pray for all leaders! It is important to have discernment when we pray, or we may become guilty of praying amiss. It would be a terrible thing to pray for leaders as though they are saved when they are not. We would be guilty of having blood on our hands!

Ephesians 4 says that five-fold ministry gifts are called to perfect (mature) the saints so that they will not be blown to and fro by every wind of doctrine released by cunning and crafty men waiting to deceive them. As an apostle of Jesus Christ, it is my responsibility to challenge anything that would hinder the unity of faith.

I am not speaking of a temporary, carnal unity that is undergirded by the opinions of men and motivated by a false love. Ephesians 4:15 commands us to speak the truth (in love). Love is not the root; truth is! Truth is true all by itself, but love that is not rooted in truth is a lie.

If we cannot get this principle, foreign spirits and demonic ideologies will penetrate our gates. Jude exhorted the church to earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints. He said that certain ungodly men had crept into the church unnoticed (grew up with believers and pretended to be like them but were not), turned the grace of God into lasciviousness (lust and perversion) and denied the Lord Jesus Christ (see Jude 3-4). It does not matter if we proclaim to be Christians (which means “like Christ”); certain acts cause us to automatically deny God, whether we admit it or not. We cannot be “like Christ” and believe that there are other ways to God besides Jesus!

Most of the ministers I have dealt with who say they are disappointed about how Obama’s faith has been questioned are black. I have a few questions for them: Where are the prophets in the black church? Prophets do not just pray; they decree and declare the will of God! Where are the apostles? They do not flow with the status quo but deal with principalities and come against anything that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God!

Where are the teachers who will teach sound doctrine that will not tickle men’s ears? Where are the evangelists who will save souls, get them filled with the Holy Ghost, cast the devil out and minister inner healing? Where are the pastors who will protect the flock from wolves and lions, even if it costs them their reputations?

God showed me that lines have been drawn in the spiritual realm. Many in the church have crossed these lines and received doctrines of devils that promote secular humanism and New Age religion disguised as Christianity. There are off-brands of Christianity in the world we live in that are nothing less than antichrist.

I have never questioned President-elect Obama’s faith. It is very clear that he is a man of faith. But I get concerned when people compare his faith to the faith of a born-again believer. Our faith could be considered equivalent to his only if Christianity were redefined.

Will we, as believers, stand by and allow the foundation of our faith to be broken into pieces and put back together in whatever way the New World order demands it should be? Radical Islamic groups have zero tolerance for any diversion from what they believe. They believe what they believe to the point that they love not their lives unto death. This is ironically what God commands His people to do in Revelation 12.

But we have not reached the point at which Christians will have to give their lives for their faith—yet. Can’t we at least lose our reputations if we do not have to lose our lives? Jesus was of no reputation! To walk in the anointing of God from now until 2012, we must become of no reputation--like Christ.

I do not understand why ministers are saddened by others’ challenging Obama’s faith as a believer. He claims to be a Christian—so it is OK to line up his faith next to the Word of God. President Bush and all other leaders are subject to the same scrutiny, especially when they make it an issue in a political race. Many people questioned Bush’s faith, but not one black minister came to me complaining.

In any case, the important factor is not whether Obama is a believer. He has the right to be a part of the faith of his choice. He does not have to be a Christian to be the president of the United States. My focus is on the fact that the devil has slowly and methodically deteriorated what it means to be a believer in America today.
· Preachers have condoned initiations into secret organizations such as fraternities, sororities, Masons and Shriners in the name of Jesus.
· Ministries have taken it upon themselves to include acts that God that chose to exclude (homosexuality, fornication and adultery) as being acceptable to enter His kingdom.
· Religious people have interpreted the Word of God in a way that lends support to doctrines of devils. They claim:
* There is no devil and no hell
* God loves everybody, and whoremongers and homosexuals will inherit the kingdom of God
* If a woman makes a mistake and gets pregnant, she has the right to kill the baby
* God is a God of love, and He sanctions marriage between members of any sex as long as the two partners love each other.

These doctrines not only conflict with the faith of the believer but also are abominations in the eyes of God. The God that I serve is a just God! If the things listed above are all right with God, then it would mean that God is unfair. He would have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah and repent for flooding the earth.

God is rigidly righteous (see Ps. 11), and His children are held accountable to live in holiness. Without holiness we will not see His face. If we do the things listed above, we are not holy! It is the responsibility of the priests to teach the people the difference between what is holy and what is common or unholy (see Lev. 10:10; Ezek. 44:15).

In closing, I would like to say that not everyone is a child of God! I am not anyone’s judge, but the Word of God is. Jesus told some people that their father was the devil and that they did his work (see John 8:44). It sounds nice and religious to say that we are all children of God, but it is a lie.

Salvation is about making a choice for Christ alone! God will separate the wheat from the tares, but until He does, we must have enough discernment to come out from among them. We must judge trees by the fruit that they bear.

It is simple: An orange tree bears oranges and a grape vine brings forth grapes. Signs will follow believers, and the souls of the heathen and the hypocrite will weigh in the balance. I agree that we need reconciliation, but let us put first things first. The priority agenda in the church should be reformation.

If Martin Luther King had not spoken out from streets and the churches, we would still be under Jim Crow. If Martin Luther had never pushed the doctrine that “the just shall live by faith,” everyone would be Roman Catholic. I will continue to sound the alarm for the sleeping church to awaken. I will also continue to seed the mind of the wicked with truth that they will not be able to deny in the midnight hour.

I will be praying for our country and our new administration, as I always have--prophetically! I pray that President-elect Obama will get to know God like never before. I also pray that he will be sensitive enough to give God more thanks at his inauguration than he did when he was elected.

Great word from the Lord.
In my country Bulgaria, it`s not so popular to say you`re a Christian. You have to pay a price, so if you`re not a Christian, you just don`t say so.

This is the third article of yours I have read. I want to thank you for speaking truth in a powerful way. I look forward to hearing from you again. In the name of "love" and "tolerance" many in the church have compromised God's principles believing a lie. The lie Satan has spoken since the "garden" "Did God really say?........

Kimberly,

I am a black minister as well, and while I agree wholeheartedly with the meat and the spirit of your message, all of the things that you list which is wrong in the church today is what we preach against. Where we draw the a line is the huge consideration of this Presidents faith, more so than anyone elses, why was that, As has been stated before, the problems of abortion, homosexuality did not begin in this election cycle and would not end even if you elected Sen. McCain. What is my point then..... Is God so concerned with the White House being in shape or His house? His house of course revival and change must begin in house and it really doesn't matter who is elected the effort to change society from the Pulpit and not through legislation would be necessary. The last difference, most Black Christians reading your articles and Charisma could have easily accepted this, call into question all of the beliefs of our current President elect that don't line up with the word and challenge it, while at the same time calling into question the shortcomings as it relates to the word in the lives of Sen. McCain and Palin, I believe if you had done that, you would have found all of them to be lacking......In the end result I'm comfortable with my decision, for I neither voted for my next Pastor, nor my next savior, but President. If Daneil could serve faithfully under an ungodly king, and his faithfulness drew the king to his God, surely I can do the same...

Kimberly,

I don't understand your critical comments about Obama. What is your problem??? All of this ungodliness was around before Obama ever came on the scene. Abortion was legalized in 1972. Did Obama legalize abortion?

You might have gotten it right about the super bowl, but you are so wrong with your comments on Obama. I haven't read any other articles from you about the other presidents but you're so infatuated with Obama. Something is not right!!!!

You're such a praying woman, pray for Obama that he will get as saved as you are and as righteous as you are.

Whats with this black church stuff? Mrs. Daniels You have a black church. You call yourself an Apostles why are you asking where is the prophets and apostles in the black church. Is there two different churches in the earth that I don't know about. I thougth we were all one. How about you go up in some black churches for free and share with them what God has given you, instead of tearing down you brothers and sisters and you race. You do not speak for all the black churches nor do you know whats taking place in them. I remember at a confrence when you talked about how prideful you were at one time.I Think you should take a break and do a little soul searching for real. These offices was put in place for the whole body. I if the white prophets and apostles go in the so called black churches as you put it, maybe we will understand what ever it is that your trying to point out about us, since you people who are a part of strang connection is the only ones that God is speaking to.

I stopped reading the editorials in my local paper because of the ongoing, constant hateful letters to the editor by Democrats. They could NOT FIND ENOUGH HATEFUL THINGS TO SAY ABOUT ANY RUNNING REPULICAN. Obama is from the ivy leagues of Harvard with a strong anti-american focus which is prevelant in such instututes. I'm sorry, but I am concerned as to where this county will go with Democrats in charge of everything. They fight dirty all the time. I'm not ready for a socialist county. I love my freedom.

Great article, Ms. Daniels.

I'd convinced myself that John McCain would win the election - but a couple of days before the vote, I felt the Lord tell me that Obama would win. However, He said that we shouldn't despair. He (the Lord)was going to turn something that looked negative into something good. I have no idea what that means, but I am clinging to it. He also told me to pray for Mr. Obama. I intend to do that.

As an author, I've heard a lot of my fellow authors touting their political opinions as of late. Your observations about a move away from sound doctrine is right on. Excuses for accepting homosexuality and supporting a pro-abortion candidate run rampant. As I tried to understand their points of view, all I could think about was the church in Revelations that was lukewarm. God spit them out of His mouth.

Cloaking homosexuality and abortion in "love" isn't the Bible kind of love. God is love. If he doesn't agree that killing unborn children is okay - or that accepting homosexualit is okay - then we must assume that these choices actually have no love in them. What we "think" doesn't matter. What God says, does. And we can always trust that His ways are the true way of love.

I so appreciate your columns and your comments. I'm so glad you've been given a platform to speak through Charisma. Thank you for your ministry.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you. It would appear that the church, particularly the black church, has been lulled to sleep by Obama and the Democratic Party. Many have laid aside their faith in order to see a black man become president.

Sadly, many of the black Christians I have spoken with concerning Mr. Obama's stance on abortion, gay rights, education, and freedom of worship (faith based initiatives) have either pleaded ignorance or simply ignored the evidence. They have stated "what is going to be, is going to be" as though who we place in office does not matter.

God has given us the wonderful gift and privilege of voting in our leaders. He has given us the responsibility to elect the best officials possible. It is my fear that in this time God will have turned us over to our desires much as he turned the people of Israel over to King Saul. I fear that we will soon feel the full weight of this new presidency and that it will bring grief and sorrow as we have not seen in quite some time. I hope and pray that I am wrong. However, in the words of Tyler Perry, "If someone shows you who they are, believe them."

Thank you again for standing against this mighty wave of fanaticism. I believe there is a remnant of believers that regardless of their race will continue to stand for righteousness. I believe that this time in history will be proven as a cleansing time, a refining, and a reformation of the church. Stand strong and know that He is God. My prayers are with you. God Bless.

Ms.Kim,

Can you tell me what kind of Godly anointed Sarah Palin was displaying when she was distorting the truth (outright lies), he's a terrorist, he doesn't love this country like you and I do,(talking to a all white crowd)in other words race baiting, these actions were neither Godly nor anointed. So please save your lecture for someone else. The problem is not with the Black church or the White Church it is with God's people in general. When was prayer taken out of school? and how many "Christians" stood by and said nothing I bet you blame that on Obama as well. How long has Abortion and homosexuality been around, and if it doesn't cease, I guess Obama will be to blame. Listen the problems is the lukewarm mamby pamby Gospel that is being preached from the Pulpit and on T.V. that draws members and money but lacks anointing....And guess the majority of those churches are White....Go figure.

What is sad is that the black church has sold out their faith for race. What is even sadder is that they don't see it and never will. What this election has taught me is that whites and blacks are worlds apart. Yes, we will co-exist, but never see things the same. The "victim" mentality is so prevalent among blacks. How sad. They will never progress as a people is that is not left behind.

When Jesus lived on the earth, He was for equal opportunity rebuke. He rebuked the Pharisees, as well as His own disciples. And that is what He expects of us. What I have seen with Charisma magazine, is that the republican party candidates can do no wrong. I would like to see more balanced articles, talking about the ills from both parties. Otherwise, Charisma Magazine is just another arm of the republican party, and is willing to stick to the script for the sake of business.

Part 1
Sister Daniels, I must respond to your comments briefly at this time. First of all let me say GET RIGHT CHURCH AND LETS GO HOME! I am so glad that you opened this comment page for responses. We need to let you know what we have discerned from GOD in our spirits and we declare this. More than anything else the CHURCH at large needs to be awakened about our job in this world. To the African American ministers who love GOD with all their heart, soul, and mind, thank you for obeying the vision that GOD has given you. You are going into the inner city winning the lost souls to CHRIST. You have no doubt discouraged many young ladies from having abortions, and stopped many young men from being killed in our streets like dogs...Thank you! Thank you for your love and concern about the inner city. Thank you for the wisdom you have used to help confused young people to acquire self esteem, integrity, and Christian character in achieving the goals in their lives. So many times inner city young people are all but forgotten about by the church at large, but thank GOD for the ministers that are looking for souls to be saved and not an honorarium. GOD gave me to know about a year ago, that many are "SEEKING RECOGNITION WITHOUT TRUE DEFINITION". What does this mean? Think about it!!!

Part 2
I must leave you now, but there is so much more in my spirit that GOD has given me, however I will leave this with you, which is what GOD said to me "GO POSSSES THE LAND" you know the scripture from the book of JOSHUA in the first chapter. When, and if we the CHURCH at large comes together in the unity of the SPIRIT of GOD, souls will be saved from all types of sin. Lives will be delivered from darkness to light. Remember the BIBLE says 1 can put 1,000 to flight, 2 can put 10,000 to flight. It is a whole lot more of us that 1 or 2. Look at the babies we can save and the young men that we can turn around from sin. Its time out for divisiveness in the CHURCH. GOD IS LOVE and love is of GOD. JESUS said "BY THIS SHALL ALL MEN WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YOU HAVE LOVE ONE TO ANOTHER". This is not a BLACK,WHITE,LATINO,ASIAN OR ANY OTHER "LABEL" THING by man. It is about GODS KINGDOM not America. America will never have to worry as long as the CHURCH gets it right. It was a beautiful site to see so many different people come together because of one human being who believes in unity. Wouldn't it be more powerful if we the CHURCH could really come together, laying our carnal petty fleshly, issues aside, praying and fasting asking GOD to forgive us for "our debts, sins, and shortcomings. GOD said, "IF MY PEOPLE, WHICH ARE CALLED BY MY NAME WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIR LAND.

CHURCH we have the answer to this worlds problems.. It is JESUS CHRIST the SON OF THE LIVING GOD. Let us fortify ourselves as JUDE said “BUT YE(YOU) BELOVED, BUILDING UP YOURSELVES ON YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH PRAYING IN THE HOLY GHOST KEEP YOURSELVES IN THE LOVE OF GOD LOOKING FOR THE MERCY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST UNTO ETERNAL
LIFE”.
The WORD can’t be paid for, it has been paid for by the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST and because of HIS BLOOD all people can be saved and washed clean from every sinful stain. There is HOLINESS in GOD and in us when we walk according to HIS WORD. Remember having JESUS and allowing HIM to shine through our life will show the world “THE WAY” out. GOD IS LOVE!!!!
For all of them out their who cannot afford to go to the big Church conventions be encouraged GOD loves you and HE is with you right now! Remember you too, are so important to the BODY OF CHRIST we need you and get ready because GOD is going to use you for HIS KINGDOM and HIS GLORY. Just keep praying and touch another person with your HOLY GHOST filled life and together we as ONE IN CHRIST can “CHANGE” some bodies world. One more thing where you are your atmosphere will change because of CHRIST in your life!

Say Amen!!

My problem with this article is the emphasis on the "Black Church". I am black and when I got saved I understood that God wants a church with every color there. From this article it appears there is still a lot of work today in getting to the point of inclusions. I am sure you do not know what every Black pastor is thinking so it is unfair to attempt to relate how they feel or use a broad brush to paint them.

God has not granted me the authority to be President-Elect Obama's judge but he has directed that I pray for leaders and I will do just that.

This continued fascination with politics is not what we need to present to a dying world. We need to be about our Father's business. If you want to change what's happening in the secular world (political arena) you must do so by changing lives and getting people saved. Return to your first love.

We are acting like some in Jesus’ day who were so consumed with the secular leadership of time. I encourage you to go and read the Word and see how Christ responded to them. I am afraid we have been deceived into believing that the answer is a President, when the world has always told us it’s the Savior.

I must respond to the comments addressing the Black Church and Black folks who voted for President-elect Obama. Your comments to me are sad, and divisive. Maybe you need to turn your TVs off, pray and really get in GODS WORD. The thing that is really striking to me is that some folks seem to think that only "BLACK CHRISTIANS voted for Senator Obama, this is not so. President-elect Obama would not have won if it wasn't for white folks voting for him as well. I usally don't refer to people in terms of skin color, because it reminds of a racism and I am not a racist. However in making my response I had to point out the "obvious."

When President Bush ran for president, how many voted for Bush and how many for Gore and Kerry ? Didn't more blacks vote for Gore and Kerry than they did Bush? Is Gore or Kerry Black? NO…! Gore and Kerry are democrats just like Obama is, so their political policies are basically the same, but I did not hear so much criticism of Blacks who voted for Gore in 2000, and Kerry in 2004, as I have heard of those Blacks who voted for Obama in this election. People get real, if you want people to vote for the republicans...tell them to stop the arrogance, deceptions, underlying racisms, and insensitiveness. Now all of you Christians who happen to be republicans...show Christ in your every day deeds and not words. Just maybe you could perhaps win Christians who happen to be democrat and are African American over to the republican party. Make no mistake however, the "republican party has a long ways to go to be for the ALL the people. JESUS CHRIST was for all the people all the time, not just for a vote. What you should know emphatically is this, the republican party is not "CHRISTIAN" neither is the democratic party. Christian people are not to be guided by political persuasions but the bible says "AS MANY AS ARE LEAD BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THEY ARE THE SONS(DAUGHTERS) OF GOD".
Lastly, all of you Christians out there who are worried about America changing because of the election of President Obama, pray, and read your BIBLE, and live by FAITH!!! A lot of us have already experienced a change with this present administration. However “OUR HOPE IS BUILT IN NOTHING LESS THAN JESUS CHRIST AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS”! Believe me you can make it. YES YOU CAN!!!

Thank you for all of you who have posted comments dealing with the hypocrisy of this article and unfair attack on the black church and black people in general for voting in an election. J. Lee Grady and Charisma could not possibly write this themselves, they would have seemed outwardly racist so they used Sis. Kim to do the work for them. There is a battle going on in the spiritual realm and it is being played out in our streets, Black and White Preachers who preach in the Ghettos are on the front line, what we need is resources and supplies to continue the fight, guess who has more of that, our White Brothers in the Suburbs....Don't get me wrong we'll make it with or without you, but quit complaining about the work we do from a distance, take a day and come and visit, see what we face on a day to day basis, then lets see how judgmental you will be! Apostle Kim,

I have always admired you and your ministry.

I have since had some regrets concerning you and your motives.

I can't believe you are continuing to question President Elect Barack Obama's faith.

No he is NOT and Evangelical Christian. But he has accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior over twenty years ago!

He has publicly proclaimed Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Moreover, One thing I know for sure, an Obama presidential administration will not "play" with God, like the Reagan and Bush administrations have done.

Also, stop blaming Democrats for abortion.

That guilt is on the woman whose has CHOSEN to abort her unborn.

Just for the record. I am PRO-Life and don't believe in abortion under ANY circumstance.

And I have the good wisdom to know that because of political rhetoric that Roe vs Wade will not be overturned NOT in this time NOR the years to come.

And BTW, no law can stop a woman from murdering her unborn child. Even if Roe vs Wade was repealed today.

If you or anyone else have had an abortion and have not repented, that blood is own YOUR hands. Not on Barack Obama's nor the Democratic party.

So, don't use Barack Obama Or Democrats to be a scapegoat for you or any other woman whose had an abortion.

Furthermore, Barack Obama is Pro-Choice and PRO marriage between one man, and one woman. He is neither Pro-Abortion NOR Pro-Gay marriage.

And I repeat! Barack Obama DOES NOT support Gay Marriage.

You need do some research before adopting your publisher Strang Communications, the GOP, and other conservative rhetoric.

Here's where you can start:

Finally, R.E.S.P.E.C.T. your fellow African Americans and African American Ministers, it ain't worth it -- to sell -- your heritage for a publishing contract, a column, and a little publicity.

Repent NOW! While YOU have Time!

I will pray for you for the next ten days. For you have truly lost your way.

God Bless.

I agree that there is much compromise in the church today. However, the issue of how black Christians vote seemed to be a non-issue until the election of 2008.

Abortion and same-sex marriage are key, but the 2008 election has also stirred up the issues of race and prejudice in the church and I am very concerned about it. The “black church” would be a non-issue if it were not for segregation and racism.

I know many minorities that will cross the color barrier to attend a predominantly white church, but few whites who will do the same.

Let’s include abortion, homosexuality, pride, racial divisions, and greed all in the same litmus test for true Christianity.

Amen to all you said Kim! You hit the nail on the head. Our focus is not about what a president can do for us, but our trust should be in the Lord. Man cannot help us and I think too many people have their trust in what Obama is going to do for them. They should be focusing on God.

It truly isn't about race, but it's about intergrity and how the person follows the word of God. Do their believes and political issues line up with God? In the last days evil will be called good and good will be called evil. It is evident today. How dare we as christians support abortion and homosexual rights when God speaks against it. We will all stand before the judgment seat and account for the loyality of our hearts.

AMDN AND AMEN!

Most of the articles and newsletters from ministers - consist of kind, politically correct conciliatory words. Bless you for sanding up to what can only devastating ostracism.

Yes God is love and we as born again believers are to yield to Him and let this love flow through us. However, God loves each of us as individuals, not for the way we behave!

It is not our place to judge others. However, we are commanded to exercise discernment

The Bible declares that when someone says that Jesus is not Christ, the son of God; that person is an antichrist. I believe that this scripture applies to anyone who says that Jesus is not the only way to God and heaven.

We must pray in love for our leaders. However, Jesus instructed us to pray in HIs Word and His Spirit. Accordingly prayers are only productive if they are scriptural and in His will.

We certainly can pray in praise and thanksgiving to our Lord that He has promised to restore righteousness to the leadership of our country.

We can certainly pray in praise and thanksgiving that He has promised to heal our land as we pray for our nation.

We must pray for the salvation of our leaders, praising and
thanking Him that it is His will for all mankind to be born again. At the same time, we have to recognize that God has given each of us the free will to reject Him if we so choose. In the meantime, we must stand against evil no matter where it is.

We can pray in praise and thanksgiving that God will direct the actions of a leader even if that person appears to be an unbeliever. However this is not the same as praying for the wisdom that is promised to born again believers.

Again, God bless you for standing firm. It is not racist or unloving to search for truth.

Sister Daniels,

That was one powerful and accurate article.

I am not black, althogh the Africans in the village where my parents were missionaries would say that I am African / American because I was conceived in their village.

I have no ill feelings for anyone because of their skin color. In fact I have extra feelings of love and admiration for any black person who succeeds in whatever endeavor they choose.

I would be excited and pleased to elect a black man or women to be president.

But not one who
has said:
- Jesus is not the only way to God and heaven.

- Blacks deserve reparation because of the salvery.

- He is a world citizen and wants the US to be part of the "new world order".

Who advocates:

- socialist policies.

- Abortion on demand and refused to vote to even render aid to a baby who survives an abortion,

- Special rights to Homosexuals and condones the practice and that coal mines will go broke.

Who has said that under his policies our cost of electricity will skyrocket.

Who has bought into the mentality that we must punish the US because of the global warming nonsense.

And on and on and on...

In short, the reasons about one half of the American people voted against Obama has nothing to with his skin color.

Sister Kim,

Don't allow yourself to be used by political hounds.

Politics is dirty business. No use getting your name and witness for Christ in the mud.

It's not worth it for many reasons.

Believe me, if Barack Obama was a white male, his presidential candidacy would have practically been a non-issue.

If you don't think so, look at some of the earlier issues of Charisma Magazine and comments from other publications during past presidential elections.

For NO other reason than the color of Barack Obama's skin, has his name character name been maligned in such a vicious manner. Consider this:

Every democratic presidential candidate over the last thirty years has garnered over 90% of the black vote.

So there's no reason to blame blacks for voting in overwhelming numbers for Obama.

Furthermore, don't be naive, if any Christian conservative's physical life was on the line, and a black physician was the top specialist in his field, they wouldn't care if the physician was Christian or atheist, black nor white, democrat or republican. They would want the BEST MD available.

The same for this country, conservatives should stop looking to republicans for the ONLY effective leadership when the best "man" for the job, is a democrat or vice versa.

Ultimately, the Church must stop looking to a "man" period, to solve America's woes and look to Almighty God who holds the keys to ALL solutions concerning the problems of this country.

If my people that are called by my name...

Sister Kim - I am so sorry that you are being attacked because you did not fall in line with other blacks who do not have a mind of their own. The "massa" mentality is still around, but now the new master is the Democratic party. This all reminds me of the OJ trial where blacks were cheering that a brother got away with murder just to "stick it to the man." The racial divide just got deeper and the welfare state is on it's way back. That is what the black church is celebrating.

You are just a small minded racist, who hides behind “moral values” and the republican party. Your master has always been the republican party, but you can’t see the log in your eye. The racist spirit is getting smoked out, and it is not pretty. Nobody can stop God from doing what He wants to do.

Anonymous at 6:06 what is massa? What a divisive racist word to use. Further are you saying that whites and Hispanics have this same mentality whatever you believe it to be? What does OJ Simpson have to do with this conversation? Where are you getting your hasty generalizations?

I have no idea who the black church is or is supposed to be. Please enlighten us all. I notice that no where in your post did you mention our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ so I guess you've gone rogue.

I think it would be prudent for you to stop getting so consumed with politics and take more notice of the Great Commission.

There is something important going on here. Since so many use the word "racist" for anyone who disagrees with them, they are taking away the real value of the word. Do you notice that being called a racist does not have any meaning to it since it is thrown around so much? Keep it up.

Christians can disagree, but the spirit in which we disagree is very important. When you start throwing words like “O.J. Simpson” and “Welfare”, in reference to black people, we know exactly where you are coming from. This mentality of “us” verses “them” is what has divided the body of Christ. Unless we are willing to confront the enemy within, it will always be “Their” fault. Let us all humble ourselves and allow the Lord to work on us. Like it or not, we are one Body of Christ. In heaven, we will not have the black neighborhood and the white neighborhood, it will be heaven neighborhood.

It obvious to me that many of the Posters on here don't care about the truth at all. Particularly Kim and the poster from 11:48AM. Where do you get your information??? Did not watch his debate at Saddleback Church... Have you not read some of the information that he has given out on his positions on his website??? They are gravely different than the positions you state in your post....You sound just like a Republican commercial. So tell me do you believe the tatics use by the "righteous" Republican Party, racial overtones, outright lies according to fact checker.com, distortions of the truth line up with the word of God??? And if so when and Where did Jesus or the Prophets use Character Assasination to promote their cause? As much as you want to criticize the Black church for voting for Sen. Obama, yet you have no criticism of the Republicans during this election....Not suprising, one can cannot Judge fairly cannot Judge at all.

What some of you and Kim says sounds good, BUT, we don't live by man's wisdom, but by the word of God. He said in Proverbs 30:5-6 "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." So for my and the sake of our readers, show me in scripture where voting in an election brings the sins of the person voted for, upon us??? Many Christians voted for President Clinton.....By your reasoning if a Christian voted for President Clinton, not knowing he would sin, that becaused he sinned we must give an account before God for the sins the President committed because we voted for him??? Or the sins of President Bush, starting a war without Godly reasons, and then killing innocent Iraqi's, if we voted for him the blood of those same Iraqi's are upon us???

It is one thing out of your on spiritual conviction, to not want to vote, that is your right, it is a whole nother thing to put that same conviction on someone else, without any biblical reference........That is heresy.....There is no scriptural reference for Israel having to suffer PERSONAL retribution for Sauls sin.....Saul and his sons paid the penalty of his sins, not Israel.......

Romans 14:1 "Him that is weak in faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. vs. 4 WHO ART THOU THAT JUDGEST ANOTHERS MAN'S SERVANT? TO HIS OWN MASTER HE STANDETH AND FALLETH. YEA, HE SHALL BE HOLDEN UP: FOR GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE HIM STAND. vs.5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."

There is so much more in this chapter the bears relevence to this subject but I don't want to bore you. So in closing, I'm not judging you for not voting, again that is your right, or for those voting Republican, that is your right as well. But please don't convict people on this blog for voting, nor for voting for President Obama. They have every right to do it without conviction, as long as they did it unto the Lord, and you have no idea where their heart was when they cast that vote only God knows.

Thanks sooooooooo… much for supporting your post scripturally. Many Christians are mislead by good sounding words that are not scripturally supported, or even accurate. I don’t remember a time in our lives when we insisted that our president has to be born again, with no sin. Don’t we have enough born again ministers with deep issues? Just pray for the man, and let God do His work.

Many christian's do not read/study the word or even pray except for when they go to church. That's not enough...Please continue to stay on the wall and sound the alarm as loud as you can. OPEN UP THE HOUSE OF GOD AND LET THE UNSAVED RUN IN SAYING “WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED“? LET THE GOVERNMENT TAKE CARE OF THEIR JOB, AND LET THE PEOPLE OF GOD TAKE CARE OF GODS WORK.
GOD HAS GRACE, MERCY, AND LOVE FOR THE LOST SOUL.

IT WILL BE JOY IN THE STREETS BECAUSE THEY WILL SAY I MET A MAN WHO TOLD ME ALL ABOUT MYSELF AND NOW, THE LORD HAS CLEANSED ME AND FILLED ME WITH THE HOLY GHOST. NOW I CAN SEE WHAT I COULDN’T SEE BEFORE. I’VE BEEN CHANGED BY JESUS CHRIST…THE “HERO”

EVERY HURTING MAN,WOMAN, BOY AND GIRL WILL SEE THE LIGHT AND COME RUNNING TO IT. NO ONE WANTS TO LIVE IN DARKNESS, BECAUSE THEY WILL FALL OVER EVERY THING, THEY WILL FALL OVER ABORTION, DIFFERENT LIFESTYLES, LIES, DRUGS,UNHAPPINESS, DEPRESSION, DISCOURAGEMENT, LONLINESS, HATRED, BITTERNESS, DECEPTION, MISJUDGEMENT, KILLING, ADULTERY, AND FORNICATION, BECAUSE THEY CANNOT SEE THE RIGHT WAY. BUT IF WE TURN ON THE LIGHT THEN!…..THEN!….THEN!… THEY WILL KNOW AND SEE THE REAL HERO JESUS CHRIST.
JESUS,THE ,ONE WHO LOVES THEM , THE ONE WHO DIED FOR THEM, THE ONE WHO SHED HIS BLOOD FOR THEM ON THE CROSS, THE ONE WHO CAME TO GIVE THEM HOPE, THE ONE WHO CAME TO REVEAL THE FATHER, THE ONE WHO CAME AND SAID I’LL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU, THE ONE WHO CAME AND LEFT THEM HIS PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING. THE ONE WHO CAME AND GAVE POWER TO HAVE DIGNITY, INTEGRETY, AND CHARACTER……..THIS IS JESUS……..HE IS THE HERO WHO LIVES FOR EVER MORE! NOW ASK YOURSELF IS HE DEAD OR DID HE RISE. HERE IS MY ANSWER… JESUS IS ALIVE AND WELL AND HE HAS GOT ALL POWER IN HIS HAND AND YOU KNOW WHAT? HE HAS INTRUSTED THIS POWER TO HIS LITTLE EARTHLY IMAGES LIKE YOU AND ME

!!! HALLELUJAH!!! JESUS I LOVE YOU!!!! YOU ARE THE KING OF MY LIFE, AS A MATTER OF FACT YOU ARE THE KING OF KINGS AND LORDS OF LORDS…PRAISE THE LORD!!!! GOD YOU DID NOT LEAVE MAN OUT, WE ARE MADE AFTER YOUR IMAGE AND LIKENESS. JESUS IS COMING BACK TO GET GODS IMAGE AND LIKENESS AND TAKE BACK HOME TO THE FATHER. I CAN IMAGINE IN MY MIND JESUS SAYING TO THE FATHER I WAS THEIR HERO, AND THEY BECAME MY LITTLE HEROS. THEY CAME UP THROUGH PAIN, RAIN, HEARTACHE, AND BLAME BUT NOW THEY HAVE A PLACE IN MY BOOK AND I’VE WRITTEN THEIR NAME. I ’VE WRITTEN IT DOWN IN MY BLOOD SO I’LL NEVER FORGET THOSE WHO ARE MINE. MINE. THE SONG WRITER SAID “THEY SHALL BE MINE SAITH THE LORD WHEN HE COMES TO MAKE UP HIS JEWELS THEY SHAL BE MINE.”
SOMEBODY SAY AMEN, AMEN, AMEN.

LOVE LIFETD ME, WHEN NOTHING ELSE COULD HELP. EVEN A MANS LAW CAN’T CHANGE A MAN WHEN HE IS BLIND AND CAN‘T SEE, BUT GODS LOVE CAN CHANGE HIM FROM THE INSIDE OUT. (THANK YOU JESUS)!

Lois,

Do you have a church? Why are you looking at Kim to be on the wall of your heart.....If you have a church you already have a Prophet. What is he or she telling you about the future? This is not the Old Testament, prophets of old had to prophecy because the revealed word had not yet been penned in scripture. Read Hebrews Ch.1 Vs. 1 God is not working like that anymore, if Kim's prophecy is to be heard it should be confirmed unknowlingly by your shepherd. "For God Gave Us Pastors After His Own Heart" Quit looking to every thing that sounds good, hear your shepherd!!!

I never realized we had so many God called judges and jurors in the body of Christ. I must have missed that in the five-fold ministry of the church.

I have been amazed at the number of these posts that were critical and some, down right mean, towards our sister in Christ who simply stated her opinion about a real situation in our world today. I believe it would do us all good to examine ourselves and what our motives truly are. In reality, this country is in the shape it is in because the church has let down it's standard. We are to be a light to this lost and dying world. A city, set high on a hill that cannot be hid.

I know it may come as a shock to some, but Jesus is not a Republican, nor is He a Democrat. He is the King. We will ALL stand before Him as the scripture says, "unexusable". He will not say to us that we were a great representative for the black community or the white community or any other racial community. I am so glad the only color Jesus will see on that great and final day will be RED, symbolizing that we are covered in His blood.

Before He ascended back to heaven, He left us with these commands: to love Him with everything in us, to love our neighbor as ourself, and to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Every other command and calling will rest on these. When we stand before him will his words be, "Well done thy good and faithful servant" or will he say, "Depart from me ye that work iniquity". It will either be heaven or hell; saved or lost. I want to be in the red crowd.

First, I'd like to address the poster who said:
"What is sad is that the black church has sold out their faith for race. What is even sadder is that they don't see it and never will. What this election has taught me is that whites and blacks are worlds apart. Yes, we will co-exist, but never see things the same. The "victim" mentality is so prevalent among blacks. How sad. They will never progress as a people is that is not left behind."

Clearly, by posting as Anonymous, you do not have the nerves to take accountability for your statement---which happens to be ignorant at best and racist at worst. I thank God that you are NOT God and that HE has the final say on the state of the black community and its future. I also thank God that not all 'white Christians' think like you. Your statement seems to suggest that Christians who happen to be white are exclusively righteous. That's funny considering that it was the black and Hispanic population in California that tipped the votes in favor of Proposition 8 passing.

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks; and, if your post is any indication, you have a lot of soul-searching to do.

Second, to echo other postings, THANK YOU Apostle Kim for speaking the truth. Based on many of the responses, there is and will continue to be a great falling away. Not every 'Christian' is ready to love not their life (or reputation) unto death. The only thing that SAINTS (not church-folk)can do now and in the days to come is to continue to advance the Kingdom of God---in every sector of society.

I praise God for what is happening today! Oh, how unsearchable are your ways, Oh Lord!!

First, I want to start of by saying that I totally agree with what Apostle Kim is saying. There was a comment earlier on, where the replier had referred to Kim selling her heritage out.

I beg to differ. As an African-American, my identity is lost in Christ. I am a kingdom ambassador. So despite how proud I am of my heritage/lineage, my heritage will never trump being in the family of God.

But let me get to my point.

I voted for McCain, not just for moral issues, but because of other issues as well. I don't believe in big government, raised taxes, and I could not support a platform that would seek to end faith-based initiatives. I digress.

But I believe that to everything, there is a season. And this is what the Lord has been speaking to my heart for the last 10 days, approximately. God, in his ultimate sovereignty, has allowed the outcome of this election for a number of reasons.

1) To remove the rug that has covered the racial divide within the church - to make it bold and clear... God wants to bring healing to the American Church

Psalm 133:1-2 - How good and pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity. It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.

Key: Unity releases an anointing

When the American church becomes unified (and it will happen within the next few years), God will release an anointing (God given ability) to walk in a new authority, new dominion, and a new grace to totally annihilate every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. When I think of "high things", I think of chief principalities and rulers of darkness... demonic strongholds that will not be shattered unless there is a new level of unity within the Body. God is seeking one movement, one sound... one solitary Holy Ghost filled fist to crack the devil up-side his head once and for all! The body will then have a unified voice against not only homesexuality, perversion, abortion, fornication, and adultery, among a host of other moral ills, but also social injustice and racial equality. The church is suppose to be the welfare system, not government.

2) I believe that this IS definitely a time for reformation in the Body of Christ. But not only that, but a true and thorough examination of the prophetic in America. God is not schizophrenic. He says one thing, when He does saying something, and a lot of times He says nothing at all because He already knows the will of the people. But flesh can get in the way and skew our interpretations of what God is saying. I think we need to go back and examine all prophetic words given in regards to this election and hold people accountable for what they say, in love. Prophets can be off for a number of reasons, including the will of the people. But we can help the prophetic voice in America become sharpened by holding prophets accountable.

3) If God can change a city in a day, and if God can change Saul's stony heart, a heart that was undoubtedly anti-christ, then he can change any man or woman's heart, no matter of stature, position, etc.

In closing, yes, I did not vote for Obama. And I must admit that I am still concerned about some of his political viewpoints and associations. But as a Christian, my role is different now. I am obligated to pray for my president, pray for his protection, pray for wise men and women to give Godly counsel and advice, pray that the Obama family gets filled with the Holy Ghost, pray for the children who's lives will never be the same, pray for the grandmother (who I believe will be key in the White House!)... basically pray for the Lord himself to visit the Oval office and every position in government.

We still live in the greatest country in the world. Despite the dirt of the past, I see a bright future for our children (my first will be here the last week of February.. YEAH!!!), and our children's children, and so on.

At the end of the day, God will be glorified in all this, and the church will come out on top!

So rejoice people of God! Again, I say rejoice! God is getting ready to do some strange acts in the days to come! And the heathen will be befuddled and confused, for they said that he would do this for us, and that for us, but he turned out to be one of them!

Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered, in Jesus name!!

"I want to be clear about something, any good student of church history will eventually read of the moral decadence that defined the Roman empire. Infanticide, abortion, paganism and homosexuality were common place practises at the time of the first century. Young girls were typically married by age 11 to older men and their lot was little more than legalized slavery. When Paul came to Athens and saw the city was given over to idolatry his spirit was grieved within him.

He didn't smash idols. He didn't attempt to "influence the culture," petition the government to include Christian symbols or some such pukish, toothless mission.

Paul preached Christ.

When persecution scattered the church, they didn't retreat into their isolated corners waiting to be spirited away to the Heavens. Where ever they went, the believers, as they were first called, made disciples, converting villages, towns, slaves, freemen, centurions, the mighty and the weak. The empire was converted from the inside out.

It was through the power of the gospel (one heart at a time) that women's station was elevated. It was the power of the gospel that scorched men's consciences and the Roman colliseums were shut down. It was the gospel that elevated the sanctity of human life so that botched abortions ceased to be common place.

I will say it over, and over and over again. America's greatest need is not for a MAN IN WASHINGTON. It is for a MAN IN THE PULPIT. We do not need men in Congress so much as we need MEN IN THEIR HOMES. When the divorce rate among born again Christians is no different from those who profess no faith, we have NO MORAL AUTHORITY to rant against immorality.

It is all well and good to want a pro-life president.

But Roe V. Wade will be rendered powerless when we teach our daughters to get a husband before they get on their backs. I taught in a "christian school" for a while, and the moral climate was no different from my experience in public schools.

Have we taught our sons the value of self -respect, honor and sacrifice? Do Christian men honor their wives more than they feed on pornography?

There was a recent study out about the staggering number of preachers, yes preachers addicted to pornography. By the way, have seen the statistics about the number of Christian women who have had abortions?????

When men make it a priority to lead their families in worship and not a steady diet of the debauchery on television, when we make it our priority to care for orphans, volunteer at crises pregnancy centers and preach the grace of God for those who have fallen, THEN AND ONLY THEN will America begin to see the spiritual revolution she so desperately needs.

We can pounce on government all we want, but as Paul teaches, we have no business judging the world when our own affairs brings shame and reproach to the cause of Christ."

Kim,

Don't let anyone stop you from expressing your opinion about the election or President Obama. That is your right. It seems that if we who are black don't agree with the majority of black america, we have to be in the pocket of the white man, sell outs, Uncle Toms, etc. As christians we are to filter all of our choices through the Word of God. That does not mean that we have to adjust the filter to fit a particular race, political party or group of individuals. Our world view is determined by the Word regardless. The attacks on you have become personal and they remind me of the same type of tactics that are used when certain groups want to shut-up anyone with an opposite opinion. That is wrong. Continue to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and don't let the personal attacks discourage you.

We as Christians must do our part to win the lost souls. We need one another as never before...Now let us PRAY....with the SPIRIT OF LOVE and UNDERSTANDING.

After years of praying I’ve learned to pray in the SPIRIT, because the SPIRIT OF GOD knows the need of all people. Remember it is HIS SPIRIT that “destroys the yoke”. All we need to do is pray and believe GOD….to do the work. We don’t serve a weak GOD, but HE IS ALMIGHTY, ALL POWERFUL, and HE can and will do the seemingly impossible. Nothing is to hard for HIM to do!!! It may be to hard for the government, ( don’t get it twisted) but it IS NOT to hard for GOD at all!!! Watch HIM work, he’ll move when you pray. Now your ways won’t move HIM, but when YOU PRAY, HIS WAY.. HE WILL MOVE HIS WAY. The only reason we pray AMISS is because OUR FLESH has gotten in the way somehow. However when you pray in the SPIRIT, flesh has no part in GODS ways. There have been occasions when I have started praying, where I told GOD what was on my heart, but GOD changed MY PRAYER to where I saw HIS WAY and at the end of the prayer, HIS PRAISE filled my heart, and mouth all day.

So we should not worry about this old worldly system, which will pass away, GOD knew all things, before we even stepped into “TIME”. Child OF GOD…one day we all will “STEP OUT OF TIME” into our FATHERS Habitation with JESUS CHRIST leading the way and we will forget this old earthly “time”, because we will forever have an ETERNAL mind just like JESUS. The song writer wrote...

“TO BE LIKE JESUS, TO BE LIKE JESUS, HOW I LONG TO BE LIKE HIM, SO MEEK, AND LOWLY, HUMBLE AND HOLY, HOW I LONG TO BE LIKE HIM”

Its all about JESUS, HE is our PERFECT example of HOLINESS and LOVE!!! HIS LOVE can change a man or woman’s heart, and soul.

So again I say, BELOVED, pray in the SPIRIT OF LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING…This is the WILL OF GOD.

Never forgetting, we need one another, because if we hurt a part of our BODY as if we don’t need it, then we are hurting ourselves. You see, if there is a part of the BODY that is not functioning well
We don’t seek to cut that part off, because there is life still in it, but we pray for total healing of that part of the BODY that it may function as well as the rest of the BODY. The only reson to cut off a part of the BODY is because there is no hope. But we know there is hope for whole BODY because of the BLOOD of JESUS, and where HIS BLOOD flows there is HOPE for the healing of the BODY.

GOD BLESS YOU

Nobody cares who are whom Kim Daniels supported for president. It is the "spirit" in which she voiced her opinions. Calling blacks that voted for Barack Obama, ungodly. Indeed, it was only her take on what she believe Pres. elect Obama to be. If she had spent more time in prayer as she professed, she would know not to pen such a divisive article.

To all the ministers of GOD that read this blog and to the entire family of GOD as well. GOD, our FATHER bless you and keep you in these unstable times that we live in.

I encourage you to keep doing the work which JESUS CHRIST has called you to do. I am fully persuaded, based on GODS INFALLIABLE WORD, that you as a man or woman of GOD are walking in the ministry gift that you have been called to. Some may never see what you do and some may never hear what you say. You may never be in a magazine or on a T.V. program, but continue to let GOD lead you and guide you to reach as many as you can for HIS KINGDOM. I know that you are out there doing the will of GOD in the power of HIS SPIRIT. How can I not believe that GOD would have more than one or two individuals crying in the wilderness? I would be doubting the power of GOD, and the validity of HIS WORD. Elijah thought that he was the only prophet that GOD had left...but GOD told him "YET I HAVE LEFT ME SEVEN THOUSAND IN ISRAEL, ALL THE KNEES WHICH HAVE NOT BOWED UNTO BAAL, AND EVERY MOUTH WHICH HATH NOT KISSED HIM”. 1 KINGS 19:1-18.

Yes we may have them out there that have turned from GODS ways, and yet still preaching, but GOD will deal with them on HIS TERMS. As Mother Bynum says "Know GODS Word, and let the GODS Word know you". I to, say to you, know HIS SPIRIT, follow HIM in everything, and let HIM lead you all the way.

"LOVE TO YOU IN CHRIST"

This is a sick obsession judging this man's salvation, Can you save anbody. We must be careful that in the process of delivering truth we don't take on a religious pharisee attitude.
Let God separate the wheat and the tares. We are so harsh no wonder David said he would rather God judge him than man that must say something about your limited perception of what's in people heart. We should be more concerned that JUDGEMENT BEGINS IN THE HOUSE OF GOD.

If you single out Obama to say he's not a christian then what do you do with the lying cheating whoring, hateful church leaders and members who say they are chistians. You now put yourself in a position to judge them all. Just as Paul many who preach and sing the gospel will let others in and they themselves will be a castaway. Do you judge them by the same standards as Obama. He might not have all the the right religious lingo and spiritual knowledge that you have. God is going to judge him based on his knowledge not yous. many who can talk the talk can't walk the walk. Why judge every word this man's says, He don't belong to you he belongs to God and only God can judge him. To judge righteously you have to judge one and all and that's not a job I want. It appears from how he lives his life that Obama have character and integrity which is severely lacking in some church members. You have preachers, leaders in the church who do wrong and allowed to get away with it because they are the man of God. If someone say something about them, they speak curses against that person. I think we should preach the word in season and out of season the problem is when the motive and the spirit is questionable. Why so much entanglement in Politics when God said judgment begins in the house of God. I think God wants to get the church right so they can make an impact on the world. We have churches that all they can agree on is paying tithe. WOW, WHAT ABOUT LOVE! YOU KNOW THAT THING THAT JESUS WAS FOREVER TALKING ABOUT. YES LOVE THE THING YOU CAN'T GET CHURCH PEOPLE TO WALK IN TOWARDS EACH OTHER. THAT'S WHY THE CHURCH IS FULL OF OFFENSES AND THE CHURCH BEING A REVOLVING DOOR OF OFFENSE AND DISCONTENTMENT AND UNFORGIVENESS. BECAUSE BROTHERS AND SISTERS HAVE NO LOVE FOR EACH OTHER. GOD USE YOU AND YOU ARE IMPERFECT SO WHY IS IT THAT GOD CANNOT USE THIS MAN. MAKE NO MISTAKE THAT NO MATTER WHAT OUR KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORD IS, WE ARE NOT CALLED TO PUBLICly CONSTANLY CONDEMN PEOPLE ABOUT THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF GOD. IF OBAMA HAD PUT HIMSELF IN THE POSITION OF PASTOR,CLERIC THEN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO PUBLICLY ADDRESS YOUR CASE. IF GOD WAS LIKE US HE WOULD NOT HAVE CHOSEN SAUL THE MURDERER TO BECOME PAUL THE APOSTLE. I DONT SPEAK WITH ANY PARTIALTY TOWARDS OBAMA BECAUSE HE IS JUST A MAN AND SUBJECT TO ERROR AS ALL ARE. I SPEAK FROM THE POINT OF VIEW THAT GOD IN NO WAY SUPPORT PUBLIC LYNCHING IN HIS NAME. WE ARE A CROSSING POINT IN OUR CHRISTIANITY WHERE WE MUST LOOK AT OURSELVES, GET RIGHT OURSELVES SO OUR LIGHT CAN SHINE MORE TO DRAW PEOPLE INSTEAD OF TRYING TO BEAT THEM OVER THE HEAD WITH OUR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS. WITH LOVING KINDNESS HAVE HE DRAWN US. JESUS CAME IN LOVE SPEAKING THE TRUTH WITHOUT CONDEMNATION. JOHN 3:16.
WE NEED TO LEARN HOW TO REDEEM THE TIME AND KNOW WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THE TIME AND SEASON AND I DONT THINK ITS TIME TO KEEP TEARING THIS MAN APART. WE ARE ENTITLED TO OUR POINT OF VIEWS BUT NOT TO CONSTANTLY STIR UP CONTROVERSY USING THE WORD OF GOD. WHY CONDEMN ANYBODY WITHOUT GIVING THEM A CHANCE AND TIME TO GROW. THE SAME GRACE EXTENDED TO YOU IS EXTENDED TO OBAMA. DIFFERNET TREES BEAR FRUITS AT DIFFERENT SEASONS. HIS SEASON IS NOT COMPLETED AND HE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS AS WE ALL ARE.

Kim,

You are a very brave young woman and I read your comments first on The Strang Report from Steve Strang, publisher of Charisma. You spoke to ICA and your remarks got me curious, so I read more. I applaud your speaking out and taking your stand.

Now to everyone here; I realize there is an ocean of differences separating the body of Christ and calling one church black and the other white, is terrible. So, I am white and that makes me a different type of believer or a difference in my salvation and love of God. I don't believe that! It is time to knock down those barriers once and for all and one at a time. I believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Son of man, sent to us by our Heavenly Father for our sins and also, so we can have fellowship with Him endlessly.

The color of my skin is not what is separating us. It is the taking issue with the color that separates us. I love my brothers and sisters in Christ and that is all that matters. Our customs, as long as they are in line with God's word, are things that tie us together but we have allowed abortion and sexual deviates to challenge our fundamental strengths. We can over come both of these by our testimony and that is by the manner in which we live our life before all men and women. We can start with our children and teach them right from wrong no matter who tries to change their minds.

Our president elect has all of my prayers and I am also praying that the Son of God become very real, up close and personal to him. Greater than ever before. Giving him all of my support and telling the world that the only way to victory is through the blood, no other way.

This country belongs to all of us and we are all called to prayer. Men and women, and all children need to lift up holy hands in praise and worship to an almighty Heavenly Father for his provisions and guidance in these danger filled days.

Kim, keep up the prayer shield and I am joining my prayers to yours, early, early in the morning.

Grany

What a timely and insightful note! One question,If you have the answer, I would like to ask regarding your remark about secret societies such as the Masons, etc.: Isn't, or wasn't, Rick Joyner a 32nd Degree Mason? Did he ever renounce his involvement with the Masonic Lodge? I was a 32nd Degree Mason and full know the demonic forces behind the Order.

Thank you for any response.

White leaders not only questioned Obama's faith, they accused him of being false, saying he was not at all a Christian, that he was a Muslim. This was done for politics, because they did their best to make John McCain a man of faith, when he was not. McCain denounced two leading ministers for preaching the Bible.

The race card was played when they accused the black man of being a Muslim--his color would help that accusation along its path.

"Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life." (Ezek 13:22)

Understand, the black leaders were made sad by this. They found that their white brothers and sisters would go to any lengths, even pull out the race card to get the Republican elected.

Something should be said about greatly visible men and women of God belonging to parties like the Republican or Democratic party. Declaring one's allegiance to those kinds of groups says to the world they endorse all their beliefs and their tactics. Many consider the right-wing Christians liars, manipulators, and perpetrators of Rovian tactics rather than Jesus ways. (If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked. Prov 29:12)

However, I hope everyone takes a good look at why they have been motivated to say what they have said. Motivation is everything. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. (Luke 6:45)

I knew many months before, through prayer, Obama was the man god chose out of love for this country. Why were men and women of God standing against him? Their Republicanism got in the way of their hearing from God. This is why belonging to worldly secular groups are not good; it tears down the witness of Christ. Kim Clement proved to be a real prophet. Was he invited to the conference?

I understand where you are coming from and I do admire your stand, You are addressing an issue. I am so glad that there are still prophets that will stand for God's Word. Thank you for being who God has called you to be. I am not a preacher, I am just a women who loves Jesus and I don't get it when so many cannot grasp what you are addressing. I pray you continue to stand for Jesus and I look forward to hearing more, Word based truth!
