J. Lee Grady, Charisma's editor, has been involved in Christian journalism since 1981 and has faced a monthly deadline ever since. A native of Atlanta, he has been with Charisma since 1992, serving as news editor, managing editor and then becoming editor in 1999. He and his wife, Deborah, have four daughters. Lee has won three first-place reporting awards from the Evangelical Press Association, and his monthly column in Charisma, "Fire in My Bones," has won awards from the Florida Magazine Association. Also an author, Lee's book 10 Lies the Church Tells Women, published in 2000, opened a unique door for him to preach internationally. He has since traveled to 12 nations, challenging the church to release women in ministry and to end abuse and gender discrimination. In his spare time Lee is trying to learn to speak Spanish.

Maureen Eha, features editor, has been a member of the Charisma team since January 1997 and has had the privilege of interviewing and writing about such well-known Christian leaders as R.T. Kendall, former minister of Westminster Chapel; Southern Baptist Bible teacher Beth Moore; and Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of evangelist Billy Graham. She is a member of the women's ministry leadership team at her church and the head of intercessory prayer. Her passion is to help bring about individual and corporate revival through prayer, prophetic ministry, signs and wonders (she's still believing for these!), writing and teaching. Maureen is married and has three children.

Steven Ghiringhelli, assistant news editor, joined the Charisma team in July 2006. He holds a B.A. in English from Rutgers University with a minor in journalism. As a freelance journalist he wrote articles for The New Jersey Herald, The Newark Metro, The Times Herald-Record and The Star-Ledger. Before moving from New Jersey to Orlando he spent a year in Buffalo, N.Y., with Eagles' Wings ministries.

Leigh DeVore, assistant editor, for Charisma since 2002. She worked with the team while she earned her journalism degree from the University of Central Florida. She is close to her family and absolutely adores being an aunt (four nephews and one niece). Leigh has a shortlist of cities she wants to visit and crossed off Seattle in 2005 (though she would go back in a minute if she could). She has her heart set on exploring Chicago, Nashville, Tenn., Savannah, Ga., and Boston … and her list keeps growing. She enjoys a wide variety of movies, including musicals, classics, comedies, "guy movies" (she admits she likes Gladiator) and of course chick flicks. But you won't read any reviews of horror movies or R-rated comedies here.

Jimmy Stewart, managing editor, studied journalism at the University of Florida, specializing in news writing and reporting. He has been on the Charisma team since 1993. He and his wife, Debbie, live in Orlando, and enjoy music, art, the area's many local lakes and Florida's ample beaches. Feature and personality-profile stories written by him have received state and national awards. A lengthy article he wrote about the Goth subculture was published in a university textbook on magazine writing as an example of techniques used successfully to research, report and obtain interviews.

Valerie G. Lowe, associate editor, is an award-winning journalist. A 10-year employee of Charisma, she reports on topics ranging from the black church and Christian TV to gangs, single parenting and pop culture. Valerie has interviewed well-known people, including actor Denzel Washington, actress Ashley Judd and the late civil rights leader Coretta Scott King. A women's leader in her church, she is the founder of Keep the Faith Single Moms ministry. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, parents and six siblings.

Felicia Mann, Web editor, joined the Charisma team in August 2006. She graduated with a journalism degree from the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! She found her passion for the Web while she did an internship with TBO.com, WFLA and Tampa Tribune. Felicia also has a passion to see young people grow in their relationships with Christ and enjoys mentoring young people. Her wonderful parents, David and Ruth, and two younger brothers, Jason and Justin, live in her hometown Tampa, Fla. Outside the office Felicia enjoys dancing, traveling, reading, musicals, relaxing and playing sports with her family and friends.

Adrienne Gaines, news editor, joined the editorial team in 1998 after graduating from Florida A&M University. Since then she has served as an assistant editor and associate editor of Charisma. A native of Florida, Adrienne enjoys reading, watching classic movies and spending time with her family.
